MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER
As a native New Yorker and longtime San Diego resident, Michael has created an extensive client base from coast to coast. Due to his natural charisma, experience and creativity in the real estate industry, he has built a diverse, elite network of long term relationships. In 1983, Michael Christopher joined Jack Guttman and Guttman Construction, Inc/Guttman Development. For the next 20 years, they were an active general contractor and developer of a variety of real estate projects. During this time, Michael assisted Mr. Guttman in completing a variety of office buildings, parking garages, over 25 different apartment communities (over 2,000 units), various hotels, dormitories, a senior housing project, several industrial parks, three planned communities of over 100 acres, major site improvement work at key intersections, and several shopping centers. Total value of completed projects exceeded $450 million. They were also the developer of the 922 unit La Jolla apartment community known as Villas of Renaissance with Alan Kay (cost of project was over $140 million), as well as a master planner of Costa Verde, one of the most successful mixed use projects in all of San Diego.
In today’s environment, his primary focus is identifying, acquiring and arranging funding for various multifamily and commercial developments. His active client criterion includes all sizable commercial assets, as well as sizable developed and undeveloped multi-family, mixed use and single family homes.

JAIMIE TAKAJO HERRERA
Jaimie graduated Cum Laude from University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Sports Management. She obtained her MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from San Diego State University in 2013 and has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2007. Her experience in brokerage, property management and marketing has made her a vital asset to the Cali Team.
